Herdsires

We have a nice selection of huacaya herdsires here at Cedar Wind and have included a photo gallery with each of the herd sires for you to click on to see larger images of the sires' progeny, their coloring, and fleece characteristics.

Our breeding fee includes 60 days of free boarding for your female (and cria by her side), positive progesterone/ultrasound test, 4-day live birth guarantee, routine medications, and lots of loving, personal attention (for your female and cria).

Mateo was added to our herd to continue our efforts in increasing density, crimp, and fineness of fleece, and bone density in our babies.  He has not disappointed us.  Our first Mateo crias, CW Amadeus--a delicious true black boy, CW Castana--a solid dark brown female, and Umbriani--a dark fawn female, are just what we've been looking for.  See what Mateo can do for your girls!

Divinity is truly "divine".  He is a perfect replica of his sire, Mr. Know It All, who resided at Magical Farms in Ohio.  Divinity has very correct conformation and heavy bones.  He has extreme fiber coverage and density of fleece.  The second shearing fleece micron was 21.6 and weighed 7 lb 8 oz.  Divinity is very much a gentleman when breeding and typically settles females with the first breeding.  Divinity has a number of crias on the ground, and we are very pleased with the genetics he is passing on to them.  His babies typically exhibit heavy bones, fiber coverage from nose to toes, and dense, crimpy, fine fleeces.  If this is on your agenda, too, give Divinity a try!
